Pokejap is a shop for collectors who care about condition. We sell Japanese-language Pokémon cards only: singles in Mint condition, PSA and BGS graded cards, and sealed booster boxes. Every card is original and ships from within the European Union with a tracked express courier.
Card condition
All our single cards are in Mint condition, which for us means the PSA 9 standard: a card in superb condition with at most one very minor flaw (a slight print imperfection or slightly off-white borders), centring of about 60/40 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the back.
Graded cards are sold in their original PSA or BGS slab, with the grade shown in the listing. The certificate number on the slab can be checked on the grading company's website.
Shipping
We ship with tracked express couriers (BRT, DHL, UPS and similar). Orders are dispatched the working day after they are placed.
Italy: €5, delivery in 2-4 working days. European Union: €10, delivery in 3-5 working days. We only ship within the EU; we do not ship to the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway or outside Europe.
You receive an email confirming your order and a second email when it is dispatched, with the tracking number. Singles travel in a sleeve and toploader inside a rigid envelope; graded cards in a protective slab sleeve. If a parcel is lost by the courier, we take care of it: replacement when possible, otherwise a full refund.
Pre-orders
Cards marked Pre-order are out of stock and being restocked from Japan. They ship within 20 working days, usually sooner: we keep a margin to avoid promising dates we cannot keep.
Pre-orders are paid at checkout like any other order. If an order contains both available and pre-order cards, it ships in one parcel once all the cards are in our warehouse, within the same 20 working days.
To give everyone a fair chance, each order can contain at most 2 copies of the same card, whether available or on pre-order.
Payments
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see your card details. Prices are in euro, VAT included; there are no customs fees within the EU.
Returns and problems
Changed your mind? You can return a card within 14 days of delivery: write to info@pokejap.com, we send you a free return shipping label, and the card travels back in the same condition and packaging in which it arrived. Received a wrong or damaged card? Write to us with photos as soon as it arrives and we replace it or refund you at no cost. Frequently asked questions
Are the cards original?
Yes. We sell only original Japanese Pokémon cards, sourced in Japan. No proxies, no reprints.
Are the cards in English?
No. All our cards are in Japanese language; the card name and set are given in English on each listing for convenience.
Is the photo the exact card I will receive?
Singles are all Mint, so the listing photo is representative of the card you receive. If you want additional photos of a specific card before ordering, contact us.
Can I cancel an order?
Write to us before dispatch and we will cancel it. After dispatch, the return rules apply.
How do I know when a pre-order ships?
You receive the dispatch email with the tracking number as soon as the parcel leaves, within 20 working days of the order.
